Start up Apache Webserver

Now just head to the WAN IP Address that your modem tells you (see picture above)...and viola.

So what the heck did we just do.

1. Turned on Apache Webserver


2. Set up Port Forwarding on our Wireless Router


3. Enabled IP Passthrough on our DSL Modem

We can now head to that IP address to access the Mac Mini on my Television stand from anywhere in the world. Amoxil (Amoxicillin) For Sale, This is just like any regular web server!  Now a little trick I also found out from EyeTv is that I can turn on remote sharing of all of my recordings and access them via the iPhone. Umm....that is just too cool. Tested, and sure enough it works.  I just went over to the Wireless router again, and port forwarded 2170 for the Mac Mini as well (that's what EyeTv uses. You can see it in the D-Link pic above.

Moving right along.  Next is to set up an FTP server...checking out PureFTPd.
